Mia is the new kid on the block; she is out of Zoe’s litter born 9/7/09. Razz, Riley, Murphy, Karma, Packer, and Brie are her littermates.

Mia is my first homebred girl. She was the first puppy to be born, too. The funny thing is, she wasn’t the puppy I originally had my eye on. But as fate would have it, she was the one who ended up stealing my heart. I couldn’t have asked for a better girl. I told Zoe I wanted a girl just like her and she delivered me one! I often call her my black and white Zoe as she is so much like her mom but just a different color.

Mia has to be friends with everyone she meets and we are still working on proper greetings. She is a very bouncy puppy, but also loves to work. She was able to finish her rally novice title at only 13 months old. We are in our 3rd session of agility classes and she just loves it. I think she will be a lot of fun to run. We also have played in the conformation ring and hope to do more shows. I am having such fun watching her grow up. She has a way to always make me laugh or cheer me up so maybe she will have a future as a therapy dog too.

Mia’s pedigree is here.

Mia finished her conformation championship on April 11 2014!!!!  I am proud to say she was breeder/owner handled to her CH all from the bred by class.  She is my first bred by champion and I couldn’t be more proud.  Next venture motherhood!

After taking most of 2012 off of agility Mia came in 2013 and quickly earned her AX and AXJ!

After a couple of months off for training, Mia was back into the agility ring the end of August 2011. She did awesome and Qd in all 4 of her runs with 3 first places and 1 second place. Then, at the end of September, Mia did her next trial and surprised me by earning her 3rd OA and OAJ legs — giving her both her Open titles. She had a very nice Excellent debut the next day, but her handler cost her 2 Qs. Oh well, we still had fun! She is such a great little girl to run — we always have fun!

I’m so proud of Mia. She made her agility debut Memorial Day weekend 2011 and qualified in 3/4 runs! The very next weekend we had another trial and she did awesome again. We decided to try FAST this time and she Qd 5 out of 6 runs all with first places! She also earned her NA and NAJ titles! I was so surprised as she is only 21 months old and she earned both titles in only two trials! She will now take the summer off to train for Open. I couldn’t have been more proud of my little girl!
